Terms of Service

These terms explain how Travunet works, how bookings are handled, and what you agree to when using our travel search, planning, and booking services.

1. Agreement to these terms

By using Travunet, creating an account, searching travel options, saving traveler details, or making a booking request, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Travunet. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page will apply when you use the website.

2. About Travunet

Travunet provides travel technology tools for searching flights, hotels, cars, tours, travel insurance, AI trip planning, account management, and booking support.

Travunet may display travel content, schedules, fares, availability, booking conditions, baggage information, seat information, and related details from airlines, travel suppliers, payment providers, and backend travel technology partners.

3. Flight services and backend providers

Some flight search, pricing, booking, order, seat map, baggage, and airline-service features on Travunet may be powered in the background by Duffel Technology Limited and airline suppliers.

Duffel connects travel businesses to airlines and other travel suppliers. Airline offers, supplier data, travel service conditions, order information, change rules, refund rules, baggage rules, and seat availability may come from Duffel, the airline, or another relevant supplier.

Travunet remains your customer-facing website for using our services, but airline tickets, schedules, services, and travel rules are controlled by the airline or relevant supplier. You may also be subject to airline conditions of carriage, fare rules, baggage rules, identity document rules, and supplier policies.

4. Accuracy of traveler information

You are responsible for entering complete and accurate traveler information. Traveler names must match government-issued photo identification or passport information exactly.

You are responsible for verifying travel dates, routes, passenger counts, cabin class, contact details, date of birth, gender, passport or document details when requested, and any special assistance requests before submitting a booking.

5. Prices, availability, and offer expiry

Travel prices, taxes, fees, availability, seats, baggage, fare brands, and booking conditions can change at any time until a booking is confirmed.

Flight offers may expire quickly. A price shown during search or fare selection is not guaranteed until the booking is accepted and confirmed by the airline or supplier.

If an obvious pricing, availability, or display error occurs, Travunet may cancel, reject, correct, or ask you to resubmit the booking request.

6. Booking, payment, and confirmation

A booking is not final just because a search result is shown, a fare is selected, or passenger details are entered. A booking is only confirmed when Travunet or the supplier confirms the order and provides a booking reference, ticket information, or confirmation record.

Payment may be processed by Travunet, a payment processor, or a travel supplier. You agree to pay all fares, taxes, supplier charges, service fees, baggage fees, seat fees, change fees, cancellation fees, and other amounts shown or accepted during booking.

Some airline orders may require instant payment, while others may allow a temporary hold before payment. Any hold or payment deadline is controlled by the airline or supplier and may expire.

7. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Change, cancellation, refund, credit, no-show, and rebooking rights depend on the airline, fare rules, supplier policy, and applicable law.

Some fares may be non-refundable, non-changeable, or subject to penalties. Where available, Travunet may display change and refund conditions before booking, but you should always review the final fare conditions before confirming.

Refund timing can depend on the airline, supplier, payment processor, bank, and card network. Service fees or supplier penalties may be non-refundable.

8. Seats, baggage, and ancillary services

Seat maps, seat prices, baggage options, and other extras are subject to availability and airline rules. A seat or extra is not guaranteed unless confirmed by the airline or supplier.

Included baggage and paid baggage may differ by airline, fare, route, cabin, passenger, and segment. You are responsible for checking airline baggage rules before travel.

9. Travel documents and requirements

You are responsible for all passports, visas, transit documents, health requirements, entry rules, exit rules, vaccination requirements, and other travel documents needed for your trip.

Travunet may provide general travel information, but we do not guarantee that information is complete or current for your personal situation.

10. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your Travunet account login details secure and for activity under your account.

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, interfere with website security, scrape protected content, or use Travunet for unlawful or fraudulent activity.

11. AI planner and travel content

The AI Planner provides trip ideas and suggestions. It does not create a booking unless you separately choose and confirm travel services.

Travel guides, AI suggestions, prices, supplier descriptions, maps, and availability are provided for convenience and may change or contain errors. You should verify important details before relying on them.

12. Third-party links and services

Travunet may link to or interact with third-party websites, airlines, suppliers, insurers, payment processors, and travel technology services. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Duffel publishes website terms at https://duffel.com/terms and a services agreement at https://duffel.com/services-agreement. Those terms may govern Duffel’s own services and Travunet’s access to Duffel technology, while your travel itself remains subject to airline and supplier rules.

13. Limitation of responsibility

Travunet is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, missed connections, baggage handling, airport operations, supplier insolvency, weather, government action, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our control.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Travunet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or travel disruption costs arising from use of the website or third-party travel services.

14. Privacy

We use personal information to operate accounts, process travel searches, support bookings, communicate with you, prevent misuse, and improve Travunet.

Booking details may be shared with airlines, suppliers, payment processors, Duffel, and other service providers when needed to provide the requested service. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.

15. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, a booking, or a travel issue, please contact Travunet before booking or as soon as possible after the issue occurs.
